How to reach us

AZ hostel is located in the center of Prague , in Jindřišská street a few steps from Wenceslas Square. Below are a few ways how to reach our hostel.

Hostel is located in the passage opposite the Main Post Office at

      Hostel is located in the passage  that has 3 entrances

  • entrance from  Jindřišská  street ( main entrance , open nonstop, opposite the Main Post Office) 
  • entrance from the street "V Cípu" (open 6 am - till 11 pm) 
  • entrance from Wenceslas Square (through the  Van Graaf   store, open 8am - 8pm)

             How to reach Hostel AZ

     Hostel taxi

  • Transfer from the Airport to the Hostel or from the Hostel to the Airport for maximum 4 people
  • For booking please specify your flight details - flight number, arrival time and city of departure.
  • price is 600 CZK / 25 EUR

 

Ariving to Prague by train

  • from the Main Train Station "Praha - Hlavní nádraží" - 5 minutes walk
  • from the train Station  "Praha - Holešovice" - 4 stops by subway, line  C,  to the station  "Muzeum", then 3 minutes walk
  • from the train Station  "Praha - Smíchov" - 5 stops by subway, line B, to the station  Můstek, then leave the subway in the direction  Wenceslas Square ( "Václavské Náměstí" ) and after leaving the subway 1 turn left and 1 minute walk

Ariving to Prague by bus

  • from the bus station "Florenc" - 2 stops by subway, line B, to the station Můstek , then leave the subway in the direction  Wenceslas Square ( "Václavské Náměstí" ) and after leaving the subway 1 turn left and 1 minute walk

Ariving to Prague by airplane

  • from the airport  "Ruzyně" - take a bus 119 to the station  Dejvická , then change to subway and 4 stops by subway, line B, to the station  Můstek ,  then leave the subway in the direction  Wenceslas Square ( "Václavské Náměstí" ) and after leaving the subway 1 turn left and 1 minute walk

Prague public transportation

  • if you are allready in Prague and using public transportation, Hostel is located by the subway station  "Můstek" ( lines A a B , leave the subway in the direction  Wenceslas Square ( "Václavské Náměstí" ) and after leaving the subway 1 turn left and 1 minute walk ) and 20 meters from the train station "Václavské Náměstí" ( lines  3, 9, 14, 24 and night trams 52, 54, 55, 56, 58 ) 

Walk

  • if you walking in the center of Prague and seaqrching for our hostel, the easiest way to find it is to ask  for the Main post office.  Hostel AZ 20 meters from the Main Post office,  just accross the street.

 

Parking

Parking can be arranged a few meters from our hostel, in Panska Street.
  • Price: 18 EUR / 24 hours (it is not possible to buy a parking for shorter periods)
  • Starting from 0:00, 6 am, 12 am or 18 pm
If you want to reserve a parking place, please send us an e-mail to info@hostel-az.cz with the following information:
  • Driver's name and cell phonenumber (incl. Prefix)
  • The color of the car and number plate

 

AZ Hostel offers accommodation in the very center of Prague, so thats why parking on the street near the hostel is not easy.
As for parking in the immediate vicinity of the hostel, you can either park on the street or parking lot - but in the center of Prague its not for free. In addition, you can not leave the car on the spot indicated by the blue line - these places are reserved for Prague 1 residents.
 
Parking on the street next to the hostel cost 40 CZK per hour,it has to be paid every 2 hours but its for free at night from 6pm till 8 am and on weekend.
 
 
 
 
Another guarded parking lot is "U Bulhara" - price for 24 hour parking is 700, - CZK. More info can be found on www.parkingcentrum.cz.
 
If you dont mind to leave the car outside the center of Prague, we have a tip for a very cheap guarded parking lot in Holesovice for only 120, - CZK per 24 hours - in Vrbenského street. From there you can arrive from metro station Holesovice to the station Muzeum.
 
All information regarding parking will be provided upon reception. We can also borrow you a map with marked parking spots.
